How to Restore the Old WordPress Admin Panel?

If you are using WordPress 3.8 version then you are well acquainted with that. But after upgrading the WordPress version 3.8 to higher then you will become bit confuse to find the options. However many Wordpress Blogger don't like latest version of Wordpress. But if you have upgrade one time then it is not possible to get back in older version. Alternative way is to reinstalling the WordPress on hosting site. But this is very lengthy process.

However we can add a simple plugins name wp-admin classic, that will help to get back to your admin panel's older look. But wp-admin classic plugins is compatible up to Wordpress 3.8.7 version.  Beside this it has some issues, that are follows-
  • RTL Languages are not yet supported!!!
  •  Post edit form turns blue
  • Admin bar is not displayed properly on front-end with standard Twenty Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen (updated themes).

How to Install wp-admin classic Plugins?

In this tutorial I will show you the search method for Installing the Plugins just go through the below steps-

Step 1 Go to WordPress Login Page  and Sign in to account
Step 2 Go to Dashboard and click on Plugins -> Add New
Step 3 Now in search box type wp-admin classic Plugins name and press the Enter Key from Keyboard.

Step 4 After finishing search your desired plugins will display on search result. And then click on Install Now link for installing the plugins. But if you want to learn about the plugins then you can click on blue color More Details link.

Step 5 Finally after installation of plugins it will redirect to another page and click on Active Plugin. And now you can configure the plugin setting from  Dashboard.

That's it. Now your WordPress Dashboard will look like classic Admin panel. However the plugins is always updatable so whenever receive update notification then upgrade it for best compatibility. Thank you.
