SEO Tips

Under this topic we will try to get some information about Blogger Permalink. A permalink is an URL that points to a specific blog entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives. Blogger generally generates this permanent link based on your blogger post title. For example if your post title is “How To Use Custom Permalink in blog post”, the blog post’s permalink would be like. This feature is new for Blogger to control what the permalink should be but it rather assigned a permalink on its own.

To use a custom permalink or permanent link just edit your post and in right site of your Edited Post you will see like below

Step 1 Sign in to your Blogger Account and go to Dashboard

Step 2 From the Dashboard, click New Post. Or you can click on New Post from Blog Overview.

Step 3 Now Blogger Post Editor  click on Post Settings-> Permalink. (Under Post Setting bar you will get Permalink option.)

By default blog keep it “Automatic URL” with your current post title. But If you want to specify a custom URL, opt for the “Custom URL” option and you can enter your custom post permalink over there. It will allow you to enter alphabets, hyphens and underscores. Enclosure Links Help you make Podcasts, Mp3s and other content in your posts playable in feeds like RSS and Atom. Remember that it will ignore underscores. So you can use a combination of hyphens and alphabets to create your post permalink.

The Final Permalink will be something like below
    http://yourblog.blogspot.com/yyyy/mm/custom-permanent-link.html
Note that there seems to be no limit to the length of this Custom URL. So use the permalink for your site as your desire. And it will help you to make a little impact in SEO.

Happy Blogging.
