It is often require to add an additional widget container. In ready made template you may not find any container below header or above footer. For this reason i am sharing with you that how to add an additional new widget container in your Blogger templates below header and above footer column. The trick is really easy. This tutorial is very helpful for newbie. 

Add Additional widget container below header

Step 1 Log in to your blogger account and Click on Template  ->

Step 2 Now click on Edit HTML-> Unfold code  

Step 3 Now find ]]></b:skin> by Pressing Ctrl + F
  
Step 4 And Paste the below code above ]]></b:skin> and save your template

#Spicy Column h2{
font-size:13px;
font-weight:bold;
color:#B8002E;
border-bottom:2px solid #000000;
padding-left:5px;
}
.NewContainer{
width:900px; /*Change the width of the widget */

Step 5 Now find code like below by Pressing Ctrl + F

<div id='content-wrapper'>

Step 6 And copy the below code and paste it above/before above code

<div id='Spicy Column'>
<b:section class='NewContainer' id='NewContainer'/>
</div>

Add Additional widget container below above footer

For adding additional widget container above footer first follow the steps 1 to step 4 then follow the below step.-

Step 5 Now find code like below by Pressing Ctrl + F

<div id='footer-wrapper'>

Step 6 Now copy the below code and paste it above/before above code

<div id='Spicy Column'>
<b:section class='NewContainer' id='NewContainer'/>
</div>


Step 7 Now Save your templates and check in Layout for new widget container.

It doesn't work to me. Whenever I tried to add the code below or above the "" line, the additional container always appear below the header. What I wanted to achieve is a container just above the footer. But it doesn't happen. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance :)
